SUMMARY

Sounds very smooth and cool. 8)
I liked the use of different instruments, it all goes together well. I liked the percussion and drums too. They add a very subtle flow to it. :)
Well done! :D

Cyberdevil responds:

Glad you liked it, thanks for the review!

Well, well...

The original being such a mighty fine song, I thought it unlikely it could be improved. Somehow you have pulled off just that... The strings sound really good. :)
The only complaint I have is that the strings stop playing a tad abruptly at the end of the track. They could have been faded out to make the song loop more smoothly.
Also, you could consider adding more personal flavor, by adding sound effects or other instruments, possibly even changing the structure of the song. A little "yea yea" sample might have fit in there somewhere too? ;)
In any case, you did a good job. :)

The strings problem is not my fault, it's audacity's >=OOO

summary

Sounds like a pretty typical early venture into electronic music production.
I wish I could tell you it gets a lot easier, but I still pretty much suck after years of random tries at production. xD Keep it up tho, it's fun when you find a combination of sounds you actually like.
Keep adding more stuff in there, it's very simple now, though it could be used in a little mini game of some sort.

Dino10 responds:

Yeah this was actually a test, I had just learned how to use patterns in FL Studio. :P I was going to delete this when I made the other loop, but I decided it's sexeh enough to stay.

Neat!

Somehow this makes me think of Soulcalibur... It had music like this in some stages. xD
In any case it's a good adventure theme, there seems to be a lot going on and it really sounds like there's a story to it. Something desperate is going on in any case! Maybe the main characters just found out their partner is in danger! Or the tower you are in is collapsing in x:xx! :O
Well, escaping or saving someone comes to my mind from this theme in any case.
Great track like always!
Also I like hearing your songs in games (only heard them in one game so far tho), you really make them so well they sound like a part of the game rather than something that's just been found randomly and is playing in the background. :D
Keep it up! <3

Thanks a lot for the great review.

I'm glad you enjoyed the piece. :-)

Neat!

This would sound really cool as a boss theme in a game. It has a serious and cool thrilling feel to it. Makes me think of a fast-paced epic battle with some kind of weird monster. :D
Good job! :)

Not bad

The melodies playing in layers over eachother sound good, well done. :)
The beat sounds a bit simple, but I don't really mind it much.
The disposition works well, good job. Not a bad track! :D
Keep it up!

hey thanks for taking time to review my music ^^

i'm happy with what you've given me but do you have any suggestions? i'd like to bring that 7 up :3

Idk

I'm not sure why, but I don't like this song very much...
I totally hear "you" in it, but still.... I just don't think the electric guitar fits with the classic instruments. Maybe it's just in my ears, everyone else gave it a ten. xD

I totally loved the long outro tho! OMG that sounded awesome. :) Especially the violin and cello. :D:D:D Have you ever heard "beaten to death"? (not the original, but the remix)
You're very talented at composing. ^^

Gravey responds:

It's all good bud. It's not for everyone I'm sure.

Thanks for the review.

Cool!

Pretty epic DnB-ish VG tune! :3
Kinda sucks that it's unfinished tho... The finished version would be awesome in sum geimz. :D

Rig responds:

Yeah, that'd be cool. Oh well.

Yay

Yay Japanese percussion :D
It is very suspenseful, you've done awesome with the feel! The violins make it sound very urgent, and all the different sounds make it sound daunting. :D
I could definitely see this in a Prince of Persia game or something similar.
Awesome job!

Gravey responds:

Wow, you hit it right on my friend. The percussion definitely has Japanese influences with the Taiko drums playing an important role in the piece. I love how they sound!

Glad you enjoyed the piece my friend. :-)

idk

I didnt really get this one, but it seems to be about identity, so i guess the message is kinda cool.
The "me" is missing from the description. :p

Cyberdevil responds:

Fixed it, thanks for the comment!
