Sounds familiar somehow

Sounds pretty calm and mellow. It's like background music. But I'm not saying that is a bad thing or anything.
Your songs would be perfect for different flash animations. I'm a bit surprised none of the ones I've heard so far have been used in flashes...

LollipopNightmare responds:

i need to learn flash.. =P
but i WILL! one day i will teach myself.

thanks for listening to my songs.
you rawk. ^.^

Is this a remix of Now for THE END ?

Sounded like the same melody.
The other version would be great as an intro for a fast paced techno or DnB song.
I'm liking the ambientish techno in this song, though.
But yeah it's enjoyable so it doesn't matter what genre it is.
So keep doing what you do!

LollipopNightmare responds:

Actually, Now for THE END is a remix of this. XD

Very daunting and hostile

I like the crashing sounds.
It sounds like a cyber ghost is out to get you and it's coming closer and closer...
(Is it annoying when I'm commenting on what kind of event the song makes me think of?)
Also knowing that the voice says "Let Me be the One to Kill You" is pretty creepy.

LollipopNightmare responds:

no, that is AWESOME!
my songs are what you make of them. i love to hear about what others see.
=)

Title is weird

Because it sounds more like your on an abandoned industrial area on a desolate planet.
Or that's what I think anyway.
Sounded good though.

LollipopNightmare responds:

I know what you mean with the title. I was thinking about/missing some one when i made this song, lol, it just sounds kind of suductive to me.

Thank you for listening, thanks for the score, and thanks for your comments!

PS: I like your name. =)

Hey, I liked it!

It sounded somehow a bit simple when it comes to melody but it sounded fun and invitive I think. It also didn't get too repetitive.
Sounds somewhat futuristic yet laid back.
Like a cruise through a country road in a hovering car?

giovanni808 responds:

Thx for the review!

I liked the insane laugh

It sounds very serious and urgent I think. It would be pretty cool in an epic urban last battle between a hero and a mad man who has found ultimate powers and intends t use them to destroy everything. Or something like that...

Quarl responds:

lol. Best scenario relation review ever.

Cool

It was a good ending for the song although I expected some kind of culmination in the last chapter. Maybe a soothing end was better though.

Gillenium responds:

Yeah, this was more of a downtempo ambient project, so I didn't want to do some kind of orchestral clusterf*ck at the end :P (I saved that for Why Birds Sleep Well, actually..) So the whole series here basically phases in and then phases out. I think it worked well. Thanks for another review!

Awesomeness!

This Connections song just might be the best song in the world.
When I read it would be a 20 min long song I thought it must be very boring, but this keeps changing getting better as it goes on.
I just have to wonder if the last chapter is anything less than fireworks in your ears...
Oh yeah I didn't get the intro in the first chapter. Any point to that?

Gillenium responds:

Old songs like this make me uneasy. I mean, the ideas behind this chapter are great. And I know I did the best with what I knew at the time... but I could make this song so much better today. Unfortunately, all of these all songs and their files were lost in hard drive crashes. I've learned my lesson and I back up my stuff today. The intro and the outro were just something I've always wanted to do. Since I've only made one real album in my life, I haven't really had much chance to fool with intros and outros. The intro/outro is basically a recording of me coming back to my computer after class, being tired, and wanting to work on music. I tap on the computer and the tapping leads into the main synth bits. I like the intro/outro. Sorry you didn't get it :)

Takes you places...

First you're in the jungle, then at an airport and finally you're seduced by mermaids.
Very cool song.

Gillenium responds:

Maybe seduced by mermaids in the jungle airport? Filmmakers have grown attached to this chapter. With the minimalist feel to it, it lends itself well to being in the background of a surreal scene. I'm glad you liked it too! Thanks for the review.

Cool!

The Connection songs/song would suite perfect for reading homework, because it's relaxing and doesn't have lyrics to distract you.
Yeah, even though this is just a part of a very long song, I kinda liked this one more that ch.1, because ambient with a beat just sounds so awesome to me.
Now I'll listen to the rest of the chapters...

Gillenium responds:

Well, after taking time away from the Connection series and hearing it again for the first time in a while, I still have a foundness for the first chapter. I used to like the 4th one the best, but now I realize that the EQ on it is horrendous... Ch. 2 is the kind of thing I would like to remake someday. I like it, but I think it could be smoother and more interesting. Thanks for the review!
