Hmm

I could review some more songs if you don't mind? :)

The feel is cool and the beats sound good. I like the bumpy/marchy bass drum. It gives the song a real nice rhythm. The delay effects are cool too.

Not the best you've pulled off, but it's a pretty nice song. It kinda sounds laid back, but still has some tension. Also I think the main melody works surprisingly well.
Gj! :)

Yo! I never responded to your comment?! How could I miss this one? Anyways.. Thanks! ^,^

Did you see that Tom Fulp Favorited this song?! WOOT! =D

mmmm

Doesn't make me think of hotel rooms at all, but it's a really nice ambient song, it kinda takes you through a subconscious journey of a kind...

It seems to change throughout the song, so even though it sounds similar a lot, I'm not getting tired of it. Especially since I'm doing something else while listening.

A really nice song to have playing while chatting or reading, drawing or fiddling with the computer. :)

Gillenium responds:

It truly is background music. Plus, I've been in some pretty scary hotels... The nice hotels probably won't connect to this one.

Wow

Sounds awesome...
The genre is... Something. It's original no doubt.
Sounds great. I can't tell if it's hip hop, techno or video game music.

The voice fits it really well. I'm usually annoyed at lyrics in electronica songs, but this works really well.

The beat and effects sound really awesome, and create a kind of video gamish, futuristic machiny feel.

Would suit a video game submission I guess, but it's fun to listen to on it's own too. Could even have been longer. :)
Lyrics in description woulda been ncie too.

Gillenium responds:

Eek... listening back on this, I sound kinda... stupid. But I'm glad you like it ^^ I put a lot of work into this tune, although the ones I put the most work into seem to become overly complicated and just not as good as my other stuff. Thanks for the review!

Lol

Well, no offense, but you don't really have the voice for it.

Anyhow, it sounds fun, and it could be used as a funny bonus level or something in a flash game.
Or as a background theme in some laid back flash anim.
Anyhow a fun theme, kudos for the courage to record yourself!

RooAlex responds:

Thanks for the comment. Anyway, I know I don't have a good voice, that's true. But on a good day I can somewhat sing. That was one of my bad days. XP Anyway, if you know the game I was reffing in this song (PangYa/Super Swing Golf), you should definitely hear the instrumental version. It's much better than my version. XP (And I use the "XP" emote way too much, I know. Lol)

Awesome

Awesome and very happy-sounding. The punk genre suits it surprisingly well, makes me think of "Escape from the City" from Sonic Adventure 2.
Good job!

giftedbuttwisted responds:

Thanks man!!

Actually pretty good!

The song sounds good, but it's in desperate need of a snare joining in at some point. Also it doesn't loop.
Otherwise sounds cool,
(BTW, I know you made this long ago)

Treadz responds:

god. im suprised anyone even noticed this one :P

and to think i thought it was good at the time haha!

cheers for the review but i lost the project for this ages ago :P

Wow

That sounds so epic man!
I know I've heard the music before, but what is Sonny? I can't remember a movie called Sonny...
But great job on the track, it's filled with emotion. Would really fit an epic flash animation.

DavidOrr responds:

Sonny 1 and 2 are both flash games. You can find the former on almost any flash site you go to (it's even on Myspace!), and you can find the latter on Armorgames.com.

Thanks for the review!

Sounds good to me

Sounds pretty good to me man.
The beats are good from the start, but the song gets better and better as it goes along. The scratching sounds awesome, and the lead and stuff sounds good with the beat.
So yeah, you need to finish the song!

dp247 responds:

cheers, ill get on with it

Nice sound

I like how this sounds. The combination is pretty weird, it sounds hip hoppish, yet video gamish.

Yeah, the weird melody and the congas make it remind of Gerudo Valley...

Also I like how it sounds clean and dirty in turns... And the subs are pretty cool.

Good job, keep it up!

Awooop

Again, very nice feel in your song! Sounds very urban, sounds like some cool guys just hanging around and waiting for time to pass...

The beat sounds awesome!

Treadz responds:

Thanks man!

Ive just started to experiement with loops so this is kind of new grounds for me :D

cheers
